Q: Why do I need an online presence and have it a social media manager constantly updating statuses and posts?
A: Besides the obvious fact that we are in an Internet age, most Business and Marketing is done online, the next generation of customers spend the majority of their time online, The fact is it is just good Business to take advantage of every advertising and marketing opportunity to grow your brand.
Social Media really is and evolving even more so to be in future the main driving force of every Business, it far exceeds the revenue generation of television commercials in many countries now. A social media manager can help you squeeze the most productivity possible from the process.
Q: Why do I need a Business Page and How often should I be posting on Social Media and why is the content of the posts important?
A: A Business Page is different to a personal page as your business posts are kept separate to your personal posts, thus perspective clients do not have to sift through a lot of content to research your business.
One of the main reasons to have a social media presence and a social media manager is to not only reach new customers but to keep engaging them so as that your Business/Products are always in their minds, also people appreciate the effort and attention/appreciation this represents.
The content of posts must follow certain psychological guidelines or you risk losing the attention of the people reading/viewing the posts, as well there is a science to having your posts show up and be shared across various different Social Media platforms. People are more likely to take the time to share your content on other platforms if it looks concise, trendy, and witty as well as draws attention to the point you are trying to make/product you are trying to sell. a social media a manager constantly researches and perfects these aspects of their craft.
Q: Is an online Marketing campaign right for my business, and should it be Local, national or international?
A: At the risk of answering a question with a question scenario here, Is a sign out in front of your business or a phone number right for your business? A marketing campaign at some point or another for your business is essential to arriving at your goal of a successful business.
As to whether a business should target a particular market Area? It depends on the Industry/Product you are offering and if you can draw clients to your business location or ship it to them, in many cases a cases a multi-platform/area plan can be created and implemented, this, however, can take longer to implement and cost much more…. we generally suggest single target campaigns, local, national, international and when successful allow it to fund a NEW campaign. A social media manager also makes time to keep up to date with the constantly changing dynamics that make up this aspect of an online presence.
Q: Why should I consider a new business logo and or a business slogan or motto?
A: While your current logo, Slogan or business motto may have sentimental meaning, sentimentality doesn’t drive our bottom lines or brand growth. In some cases, a fresh new approach may be warranted.
Q: Surely I can manage this myself along with my business or simply have someone in house learn to do it?
A: Another question with a question answer scenario 😉 Do you remember how much work it was to Set up your business and how many late nights you had?
Starting off a business page and online presence is no different, for example I spend myself up to sixteen hours a day for about seven days on my clients project, granted this is much more than the majority of my competition but, when they take our Full Package option and I have a design team and subcontractors to handle some aspects.
Once your page, presence and social media accounts are set up, you then have to learn how to run them effectively, track and monitor their progress and experiment with new processes and software to maximise efficiency, The software costs hundreds of dollars and new stuff you need to maintain your edge is always coming out, you need to have time to learn how to operate them and as is the reason our industry exists, this stuff was once done in-house but once it was discovered how much profit it could yield, it created a new Industry, It can be hard to get someone to settle for making $500 to $2500 per month once they discover they can make that per month per client and handle 4 to 10 clients per month 😉
The another side of this is that once you have what you need in place? An employee will generally have to be given other tasks to do as the work in this field will not be as frequent or require as much attention. You really can’t replace the flexibility of a social media manager.
